  1. Fantastic. This solves a dilemma for me. I was seriously considering making a blogspot account just to comment here. So glad I don't have to do that. Thank you so much, for this, and for everything. You are awesome. I also have a suggestion. I understand that this being essentially a hobby for you, there's not likely to be consistent updates. What you may want to consider though, is setting up a regular time to post. Say, every Tuesday, for example (or whatever's convenient for you), just give us a sort of progress report. For example, "Rough week guys. Managed to get a couple frames done, but it's an uphill battle." And then maybe throw up a sample pic as a teaser. It could help you stay focused and motivated and it keeps people interested. It also helps with situations like vacations. You could slap up a quick post saying no updates for however long until you get back. That way, everyone knows when to check back. It's a model that's worked out well at fenoxo.com that I think would serve you well. However, it is just a suggestion. Regardless of what you decide, I love your work and can't wait to see more!

    1. I'm starting to get that you guys really like updates. Huh? To be honest, I was hoping the newsletter would help me avoid regular updates... you guys can go about your days and only check back when I send out an email. You can forget about me for a a little bit and not have to be constantly waiting on the edge of your seat for the next thing. But I'm starting to see that's not an option for some of you. Weekly is too short, if anything it would be every other week or even 3 weeks. I wouldn't have enough to show you and it would just create too much clutter in the posts. Tell you what, I'll think about. I'll have decided by the next time I actually update, which hopefully won't be more than a week... no promises, though.

  2. Haha, sorry if that seemed a little intimidating. I was just trying to give a helpful suggestion. By all means, do what you are comfortable with. Honestly, even if it was just a monthly, "Hey there, I'm still alive and things are happening," I think most of us would be satisfied. I was mostly pitching the general idea of setting up a regular time for that sort of thing. If there's no progress to show, that's perfectly understandable. That's the power of this being free of charge: we don't have the right to demand anything of you. My main concern is that projects like these have a way of loosing steam and creators disappearing without a trace. Regular posting, even if it's just text, would generate interest and conversation. I just want to see you do well. You deserve it. Whatever you decide, I'm sure some of us, myself included, will stick around. So again, I apologize if that was a daunting request. I think I may have gotten a little too excited. Regardless, thank you so much for what you've already done!

    1. Nah, not at all, man. I always appreciate honesty and helpful suggestions. It's not daunting. I just look at this as more of a casual thing, but I see that a few people really look forward to some of this stuff I'm doing. That's why originally I wanted to be on Hentai-Foundry, I could just be lost in the crowd instead of headlining a blog. I don't like to disappoint people, though, so maybe I could do a few more updates than what I've been doing. I had an idea to make a separate "Checking In" page right there under the FAQ that I could do. Just to, like you said, reassure you guys I'm still doing something. I'll have all this figured out in around a week.

    2. Yeah, I totally get that. I've never been an "in the spotlight" kind of guy. Well, no pressure. Plenty of excitement, but no pressure, haha.

  3. part of us i think would like a whole

    example:

    Update: worked on page 6

update 2: worked on page 7

update 3: stared out my window and contemplated life all day

    update 4: reworked page 6 and 7

just every few days but i know from experience you guys sometimes get so caught up in that it takes away from actual work and updates

  4. Testing Testing.
If this helps then I'm never using that one account I made just for this blogspot again!
    Less hassle.
